New Members Added to Auckland Association’s Council

Ric Carlyon - Friday, March 30, 2018

Changes have been announced to the membership of the Auckland Justices of the Peace Association’s Council.

President, Garry Nicholls, says several members have been seconded to serve on Council, replacing those who have recently resigned.

Yvonne Hawkins, Sharon Nicholson and Ana Maria de Vos Sanchez have agreed to join Council,” says Garry, “and their experience and skills will be a most welcome addition”.

All three will serve until the Annual General Meeting in September.

“And then we have another member leaving Council, Ric Carlyon, who has been appointed Auckland Regional Representative and, thus, a member of the Board of Royal Federation of Justices Associations. In wishing Ric well in his new role, we will miss his contribution at Council meetings and looking after Service Desks”.

“This work, as Chair of the committee overseeing our Support Groups and Service Desks, will be taken over by our Vice President,
Sherryl Wilson. We are fortunate to have Sherryl’s service given her knowledge and experience of Hubs, Support Groups and Service Desks, especially since we have Hub Education meetings scheduled throughout Auckland in the next month or so".
